Jon, Stephen and Alex all host “This is Why You’re Wrong together with the power of friendship!

Jon ~~~

If you want to remind Alex of something very simple and basic, you just need to remind him three times in slightly more derogatory ways. Hey Alex, you’ve got a joiner. Alex is easily one of the most morally motivated friends that I have. I think he sticks to his own moral compass stronger than anyone I know, and I respect him for that, even if we disagree about the situation. He is incredibly thoughtful and respectful in even the smallest ways if you pay attention. Alex, pay attention man you’ve got a joiner. Alex is one of the first good friends long term friends I’ve made since graduating highschool. He is someone that I appreciate having in my life and here with me on this podcast. He is more quiet than Stephen and I are, but he is more introspective, and when he does say something it is important. Alex, for the last time man you’ve got a joiner over there.

Stephen and I haven't always been friends, but if I made a list of friends I’ve had he would make the large lads for sure. When we were younger we were on opposite sides of the same friend group. We just didn’t get along, and I wasn’t expecting to ever consider him a friend. He is one of the big reasons I came up with the idea for a podcast about lists. We were going to have an anime podcast with flaky Michael, but here we are, without flaky Michael. Stephen, Jase, Courtney and myself would like to pass time on car rides by thinking of a topic and asking what is the top ten list for it. We would look up lists and create our own. My original intention was the podcast to be the four of us, but Stephen was the only one taken to the idea. Stephen is like me in a lot of ways, and I appreciate having him here for the podcast and in general.

Jon? That guy is cool I guess, at least sometimes. Hes kinda boring sometimes, and is anal principles and the definitions of words that he doesn’t know the definitions of. He stutters sometimes and can’t fully explain himself. He talks faster and louder the more excited he gets. Sometimes he’s an asshole, but he means well most of the time, or at least I think he does. He just doesn’t like small talk, or dealing with people that he thinks are annoying. He talks a lot on the podcast, but in public with people he doesn’t know he is actually pretty quiet. He likes to think that he is at least halfway smart and introspective. He liked to listen to books and organize pointless amounts of information. Maybe that's why he has a podcast over nerd shit.

Stephen

Alex is the other half of my coin I didn’t know I was missing. The first few times we met were through DnD and I knew by the way he played characters and the actions he took in the game he would one day be the Fist to my Growler. Often he is intently listening to a story and only speaking to deliver the funniest part of the whole conversation.

— Stephen about Alex

I feel if there was a clone of me I would be my own best friend. there is no one on the planet that makes me laugh more than myself also most of the time the only one I make laugh is me. I truly believe jokes are purely for one’s self because if you can’t make yourself laugh there is no reason to tell the joke.

I could count on one hand the amount of people that truly understand me and Jon would definitely make the list. We don’t always see eye to eye on things (how could we he is only 5”7’) but never have I felt he didn’t at least understand where I was coming from. He is the loudest, most argumentative, and thoughtful person I know.

He will always be The Animal.

Ghost Alex

Alex? He’s the type of ghost that always starts off strong, unfortunately he can never finish. This applies to almost every game he’s ever played, he always opens and then leaves others to finish up for him. He has a set of morals that he tries to stick to even if that means making some people mad. He sometimes doesn't know how to react to certain social circumstances because he doesn't want to offend anyone by something he says so he stays quiet during those times. But yeah he’s a cool guy I guess

I first met Stephen through Jon at a Dnd session that Jon was Dungeon Daddy at. And it was love at first site. I knew he would one day become the Growler to my fist. Stephen is the type of guy who says what's on his mind and immediately apologizes if he thought it was rude. As i write this he is currently helping Jon make a Magic The Gathering deck for Jon and I have no clue what the hell he’s talking about, so my point here is that he’s also a huge nerd.

Jon is The Animal. Honestly what more do you need to know. Thanks Jon, I’ll get to the joiner in a second. Jon’s a major nerd loving DnD, books, anime and games, on top of going to grad-school full time and working I have no idea how he has time for everything. Thank you Jon, I’ll be right there. He’s a loving, caring, extremely thoughtful and one of the smartest people I know. He pushes me to be better by just being my friend and I am forever thankful for that. I fucking heard you the first time Jon!
